About Steven Gotz

Jumping Text

These zipped up files are Premiere projects that show how to make your titles jump around.  I really hate that kind of thing (I'm getting old I guess), but so many of you like it that John at Bright Ideas Productions offered to make a couple of projects for you to study.

In case you were wondering, a .M1V file plays using Windows Media Player but has no sound.

The first example uses multiple titles, each with a slightly different text size or location.

text_regular.m1v is also included in the zip, or may be seen here.  A faster (really annoying to old folks) version is located here .

The second example has one title, and uses the motion effect to move it around. John was kind enough to save the motion settings as well.  Play with the settings, save the changes to a new file.  Learn some cool stuff.

I hope you like these examples.  You may know John as "johnbmx4christ" on the Adobe Premiere forums and on Wrigley Video. - Steven
